Can't Run From Yourself

Tanya Tucker

I love Tanya Tuckers rough raspy voice. It works great on songs like It's A Little Too Late (#2). Tucker can then smooth her voice down for songs like Can't Run From Yourself. Two Sparrows In A Hurricane (#2) is a very popular ballad. Tell Me About It is a fun duet with Delbert McClinton. These are the best songs on the album. The rest were pretty much o.k. I've Learned To Live is a song of the pain you get when trying to get over a lost love. What Do You Know is another "I'm getting over you" song. Rainbow Rider about a rodeo guy. Half The Moon is another sad song. Danger Ahead ends the cd with the sound I like to hear from Tanya, it's kind of a bluesy sounding cowboy song.

I like this cd but it's not what I would call a must have, unless you can't find Two Sparrows In A Huricane on anything else.
