Love Songs

Nat King Cole

My Mom was a big fan of Nat King Cole and exposed me to a lot of his music. As the years have rolled along, and with the recent passing of my Mother, Nat King Cole has become comfort music to me.

Of all the great songs on this disc some of them hit the Pop charts: Unforgettable hit #12 in 1951, Too Young soared to #1 also in 1951, Because You're Mine peaked at #16 in 1952, and in 1954 Answer Me, My Love landed at #6.

Some of my other favorites are When I Fall In Love, The Very Thought Of You, Around The World, A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, It's All In The Game, There Goes My Heart, Stardust, These Foolish Things (Spread It Abroad), and More.

Other noteable tunes: Let's Fall In Love, The More I See You, Stay As Sweet As You Are, Love Is A Many Splendored Thing, You're My Everything, For All We Know, Love Letters, Autumn Leaves, You'll Never Know, and Let There Be Love.

The only song I didn't like was You Made Me Love You.

I know it's old stuff but it's good classic stuff. Worth any price.
