Now Christmas 3

Various

Now That's What I Call Christmas! 3 36classic songs from Christmas past and present.

I love Christmas and the music that goes with it. I listen to it all year long. People think I'm nuts.  Only two of these classic songs made it onto the charts: Frosty The Snowman by Gene Autry reached # 7 in 1950 and The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) by the Chipmunks went all the way to #1 in1958.

Of the 36 songs I did find 4 I didn't care much for. Peggy Lee did a bad version of a song that I already don't care much for The Little Drummer Boy. Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree by Cyndi Lauper sounded like fingernails on a chalkboard. Normally I like Gloria Estefan but I couldn't stand I'll Be Home For Christmas. And Ne-Yo's Home was more like Oh-No Homie.

How did the song Baby, It's Cold Outside (Dean Martin) become a Christmas song. It sounds more like a "stay here and let me pressure you into sex" song.

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus by Jessica Simpson was almost orgasmic the way she sang it. I don't think that's all Mommy and Santa were doing.

Thurl Ravenscroft is the master. No one does You're A Mean One, Mr.Grinch like he does.

Possiblly my favorite song is the usually annoying 12 Days Of Christmas by those crazy guys from Relient K, they really rocked it out.

Now That's What I Call Christmas! 3 is every bit as good as the first and second.
