Dutty Rock

Sean Paul's "Dutty Rock" annoyed me before I even openned it. The titles of the songs are on the back in small print and they go in a circle. I want to spin the disc not the case it comes in.

Sean has three songs here that made the Pop charts, Like Glue hit #13, Gimme The Light climded to #7, and Get Busy reached the peak #1 on both the Pop and R&B charts. Gimme The Light is on this disc twice. The other is a remix (Pass The Dro-Voisier Remix) (featuring Busta Rhymes). International Affair (featuring Debbie Nova) was the only other song I liked.

I did find some songs / skits to be O.k. Dutty Rock Intro, Police Skit, I'm Still In Love With You (feat. Sasha), Can You Do The Work (feat. Ce'Cile), and Bubble (feat. Fahrenheit).

The rest of this CD was nothing but repetitive music rapped to by Seal Paul in a very monotone voice. My girlfriend asked me to "Please turn it off." This is one of the worst Cd's I've ever reviewed. I give it a 3score due to it's 3 chart entries.
